LET'S MEMORIZE....THE BIBLE!
Have you ever wanted to know substantial parts of the Bible by heart?
Well then, you're in luck, because that is exactly what I am endeavouring to do. Each day, I am aiming to memorize one verse of the bible in two languages (English and French). If I keep this up for about twenty-five years, I'll have the books of Genesis, Psalms, Mathew, Mark, Luke, John and Acts memorized in both languages.
I know - twenty-five years seems like a long time. By then, I'll be nearly forty! (Sorry to any adults reading this, but to my feeble fifteen year count, forty is old.)
But think about it: how many forty year olds have any portion of the Bible memorized? How many forty year olds have anything substantial memorized at all?
Even if you're starting at forty...you could get this done by the time you're sixty-five. Not too bad, my friend.
So if you're brave enough to commit a single verse to memory each day (it's even easier if you're only doing it in English!) join me! I'll be posting "Today's Verse" every morning at 6:30 EST.
Psst...you can start any time...just take a look at the "Memorize Today's Verse" category and scroll down to the oldest post!
